Description: This interesting project involved enhancing an existing glass connector bridge between the 5th floor Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the adjacent hospital building. This space is often used by the children patients who watch the MedEvac Helicopter landings and departures. The project comprised of installing six brightly colored custom made fiberglass helicopters complete with their rotors, a lit windsock, custom laid heated welded sheet vinyl that was laid in a helicopter landing pad pattern. New star inlaid ceiling tile was also installed.
